Rams Rookies: 2020-21 Men’s Basketball

2020-21 SUFFOLK MEN'S BASKETBALL ROSTER

BOSTON – Suffolk men's basketball will get a boost from a trio of newcomers for the 2020-21 season, head coach Jeff Juron announced.

The group is comprised of two sophomores, WPI transfer John Gates, and former Rams' manager Cam Munroe and true freshman Jason Mahoney, and joins eight letterwinners from last season's team that went 14-12.

Juron on Gates - John joins us from WPI where he was part of an NCAA tournament team in 2019-20. He'll bring valuable perspective from another winning program. He can really shoot it and has also shown an ability to create and score inside the arc.

Began his collegiate career at WPI … Helped WPI reach the NCAA Tournament … Appeared in 17 games … Averaged 2.2 ppg.

Juron on Mahoney - Jason joins us as a first-year from Governor's Academy. He's a versatile player and has added strength over the past year. We expect him to make an impact on both ends of the floor.

Four-year letterwinner at The Governor's Academy and captained the team as a senior … Led the Governors Academy to the Rivers Holiday Tournament Championship in 2019 … Special Olympics volunteer … Helped at the Boys & Girls Club of Salisbury as a sophomore.

Juron on Munroe - Cam was a team manager during the 2019-20 season and impressed the coaching staff every day with his reliability and positivity. We're excited to have him on roster.
