LAST TIME OUT
In a game that featured 19 lead changes and 15 ties, Suffolk men's basketball came out on the wrong side of a 94-83 overtime decision against Lasell Saturday afternoon at the Lasers Athletic Center.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk is a on a two-game skid after setbacks at St. Joseph (Conn.), 99-83) and Lasell, 94-83, that put the Rams at 9-8 overall and 1-2 in GNAC action.  

Nate Hale and Thomas Duffy each provide double digits in scoring to the Rams' 77.5 ppg average. The former leads the way with 12.5 ppg and Duffy registers 11.0 ppg. Max Bonney-Liles (9.6 ppg), Alex Jacovides (9.4 ppg) and Brendan Mulson (9.1 ppg) are on the verge of double figures as well.  

Defensively, Mulson's 6.4 rpg paces Suffolk's 34.2 rpg effort. Jarret Byrne is second on the squad with 3.9 ppg and William Rowe records 3.7 rpg. 

WILDCATS WAYS
Johnson & Wales has fallen in back-to-back battles, in overtime to Emmanuel, 86-84, and at Colby Sawyer, 71-63, to head into the midweek matchup .500 (9-9) on the year and 1-3 versus conference foes.  

The Wildcats 72.3 ppg is powered by Brian Hogan-Gary's 23.3 ppg with Justin Bullock and Nate Patenaude supplying 15.0 ppg and 14.1 ppg, respectively. 

Hogan-Gary is the leader on the glass as well with 10.2 rpg to complete the double-double average. He is helped on the boards by Bryan Davis and Patenaude who contribute 7.2 rpg each to JWU's 40.7 rpg effort.  

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk and JWU will meet for the 43rd time Wednesday. 
  • The Rams trail the all-time series, 14-29, despite defeating the Wildcats in the last meeting, 77-67, Jan. 12, 2019. 
  • The blue-and-gold bested JWU for the first time since 2011 in Boston last year, 77-67, Jan. 12, 2019. 
  • Suffolk goes for back-to-back triumphs over the Wildcats for the first time since 2007 when the Rams downed JWU, 97-91 in overtime Jan. 17, 2007, before defeating the foes, 99-94, two weeks later, Feb. 6, 2007.
