BOSTON – Suffolk men's basketball returns to Smith Court Thursday, Dec. 5 as it welcomes Lesley to the Ridgeway Building for a 7 p.m. tip-off.

LAST TIMEOUT
Suffolk men's basketball overcame a 12-point deficit late in the second half, but an Emerson layup with five seconds on the clock setback the Rams, 75-73, Tuesday night at Brown & Plofker Gymnasium.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Following the narrow defeat to Emerson, Suffolk stands at 3-3 on the season.  

Suffolk's squad puts in 79.2 ppg with a trio of student-athletes averaging double figures. Nate Hale's 15.2 ppg leads the way followed by Thomas Duffy and William Rowe, who supply 11.8 ppg and 11.2 ppg, respectively. The Rams' balanced offense also sees Brendan Mulson (9.8 ppg), Alex Jacovides (8.0 ppg) and Max Bonney-Liles (7.3 ppg) as consistent contributors. 

On the glass, Suffolk pulls down 32.2 rpg, with Mulson carrying the load with 6.0 rpg. Rowe sits behind the junior with 4.0 rpg of his own.

LYNX LOOKOUT
Lesley is still in search of its first win (0-7), having fallen to St. Joseph's (Conn.) 96-57 in its last game Saturay, Nov. 30. 

The Lynx 71.1 ppg offense is led by Chase Howard with 19.4 ppg, while Kostas Tatsis chips in 13.0 ppg. The pair of juniors' clean up on the boards as well. Tatsis paces the pack with 9.1 rpg and Howard grabs 5.7 rpg. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk and Lesley will meet for the fifth time Thursday night in a series, which began in 2007.
  • The Rams have won the last three meetings to take 3-1 lead in the series.
  • All three of Suffolk's victories over Lesley have come in the Jeff Juron era, with last year's contest resulting in an 88-57 victory.
