BOSTON – Suffolk men's basketball wraps up a short home stay Wednesday, Nov. 20 when it welcomes Brandeis to the Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court for a 7 p.m. battle.

Five different Rams produced double figures to anchor Suffolk men's basketball to a 90-64 non-conference home-opening victory over Lasell Saturday afternoon at the Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk sits 2-1 on the year after with decisive wins over Salem State (94-81) and Lasell (90-64).  

The Rams are producing 84.7 points per game as a unit with four different players posting averaging double digits in Nate Hale (12.7 ppg), William Rowe (12.0 ppg), Max Bonney-Liles (10.7 ppg) and Jarret Byrne (10.0 ppg). Alex Jacovides is on the cusps of double figures as well with 9.3 ppg to his credit with Brendan Mulson and Thomas Duffy supplying 7.3 ppg and 7.0 ppg, respectively.  

Defensively, Suffolk has given up 80.7 ppg and is being out rebounded by is foes 6.3 rpg. Mulson's 7.7 rpg anchor the Rams' 36.7 rpg output with J. Byrne adding 7.0 rpg to the effort on the glass.   

BRANDEIS BITS
Brandeis has coupled back-to-back wins together, a trouncing of Rivier, 91-56, and a 76-74 decision over Emerson, to bring a 2-1 record into Wednesday night.   

The Judges' 71.0 ppg offense is propelled by a tri of upperclassmen in Collin Sawyer (16.0), Chandler Jones (15.0) and Eric D'Aguanno (11.7), who all average double figures.  

Defensively, Jones' anchors the pack with 10.0 rpg of the team's total 37.0 rpg effort. D'Aguanno and Nolan Hagerty chip in 4.3 rpg and 3.7 rpg, respectively. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • The Suffolk, Brandeis series is one of the oldest in the Rams' history, dating back to 1968. 
  • The Rams trail the all-time series, 7-38. 
  • Suffolk coupled back-to-back wins together against the Judges for the first time in program history with last season's 71-69 victory.
