Mulson Tabbed GNAC Corvias Rookie of the Week

BOSTON – Suffolk men's basketball's Brendan Mulson was named GNAC Corvias Rookie of the Week thanks to his 15-point, five-steal effort in the Rams' 68-56 conference opening win over Saint Joseph's (Maine), the league office announced Monday afternoon.

Mulson dropped a career-best 15 points, shooting 6-for-11 from the floor and 3-for-5 behind the arc to aid in Suffolk's comeback win over the Monks. The rookie from Albany, New York, also notched a career-high five steals to go along with three boards and one block in the Rams' victory, which was the first time the blue-and-gold lifted the lid on its league schedule with a win since the 2013-14 season.

The weekly accolade is the first of Mulson's career and first for Suffolk this season.

Mulson and the Rams are back in action tonight, Monday, Dec. 4 as they visit Boston foe Wheelock for a 7:30 p.m. non-conference battle.
