BOSTON – The Suffolk men's basketball team has been honored by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) with the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2016-17 season.
Suffolk, which made its debut on the academic team, was the only member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) to earn the distinction.
The Team Academic Excellence Award, which started in 2012-13, celebrates programs across all divisions that achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better for the 2016-17 academic year. For a complete list of NABC Team Academic Excellence Award winners, click here.
