BOSTON – A midweek trip is on the calendar for the Suffolk men's basketball team as the make the trip to Providence, Rhode Island, Wednesday, Jan. 25 for a 7 p.m. tip-off at Johnson & Wales.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk's freshmen class provided 42 of the Rams' 65 total points, but it would not be enough for the men's basketball team as Mount Ida took a 75-64 victory over the blue-and-gold Saturday afternoon inside Regan Gymnasium.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk has fallen in its last four outings to dip to 4-13 on the season and 3-7 in league play. 

The Rams' 64.3 ppg is paced by a trio of sophomores in Steven DiPrizio (13.1 ppg), Michael Hagopian (10.8 ppg) and Jim Djema (10.4 ppg). 

On the glass DiPrizio pulls down a commanding team-best 8.3 rpg with Thomas Duffy providing 4.6 rpg to Suffolk's 32.3 rpg total.   

WILDCAT WAYS
Johnson & Wales rides a five-game win streak into Wednesday night including an 83-75 victory over Emmanuel in its last outing that put the Wildcats at 7-8 on the year with all of their victories coming against conference competition as JWU sits at 7-2 in league play. 

The fourth-best offense in the league with 73.5 ppg is paced led by Anthony Jernigan's 20.2 ppg, which sits second in the conference. Jarell Lawson and Michael Kiser contribute double figures for the Wildcats with 13.8 ppg and 10.8 ppg, respectively. 

Defensively JWU is paced by Demani Spence's 6.7 rpg with Lawson pitching in 6.0 rpg to the Wildcats' 37.5 rpg.

Johnson & Wales has commanded the all-time series versus Suffolk as of late, taking the last 10 meetings to hold a 25-13 lead over the Rams.
