LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk men's basketball suffered significant scoring lulls in both halves and Norwich took advantage to roll past the Rams, 73-42, Jan. 17 in GNAC action inside Andrews Hall.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk's three-game skid setback the Rams to 4-12 on the season and 3-6 against conference competition, putting the blue-and-gold in a tie for seventh-place with Anna Maria in the league standings.

With Steven DiPrizio out the past few games, Michael Hagopian has been the most consistent on offense for the Rams, providing 11.3 ppg. The sophomore headlines a well-balanced contingent with Jim Djema and Georgia Grillaksi adding 9.9 ppg and 7.8 ppg, respectively.

Defensively, Thomas Duffy has taken over the role of main rebounder for Suffolk with the freshman pulling down 4.8 rpg.

MUSTANGS MUST KNOWS
Unlike the Rams, Mt. Ida carriers a three-game win streak into Saturday's meeting that put the Mustangs at 11-5 on the season and 7-2 in league action, good for a tie with Lasell for second in the standings.

The Mustangs string together the second-most potent offensive of 79.7 ppg in the GNAC with Ethan Dujon's 17.7 ppg, which is the fourth highest offensive output in the conference, leading the way. Joey DeFillipp (11.8 ppg), Jayson Clark (11.3 ppg) and Errald Jordine (10.9) also contribute double figures to the effort.

Mt. Ida's defensive is nearly as strong as the Mustangs offense grabbing 35.8 rpg. It truly is a team-effort on the glass for Mt. Ida with not a single player registering over 5.0 rpg. Jordine's 4.7 rpg paces the pack with Harry Alexander and Dujon providing 4.5 rpg each.

WE MEET AGAIN
With under eight minutes to play in regulation, Cameron Powers was behind a Suffolk men's basketball comeback that put the Rams within eight of the Mustangs, but Mt. Ida held off the blue-and-gold down the stretch to take the 74-63 GNAC victory inside the MIC Athletic Center Jan. 7.
