Meister Selected All-GNAC Second Team

BOSTON – Jake Meister of the Suffolk men's basketball team was selected to the All-GNAC Second Team, conference officials announced Monday afternoon. Meister earned GNAC distinction for the first time in his career.

Meister was Suffolk's crux offensive effort for the majority of the season, averaging a team-best 15.7 points per game, which lands seventh amongst GNAC players. His offensive output did not fluctuate in conference as the senior held up his average, putting in 15.6 ppg in conference contests.

The Madison, New Jersey native led the Rams in scoring in seven of the 26 games played, including three of the team's GNAC contests. Meister started every one of Suffolk's games this season and set new career highs in points (28), rebounds (8), assists (5), blocks (2), field goals made (11), field goals attempted (21), free throws made (7) and free throws attempted (8).  Meister scored in double figures in all, but four games, including 12 straight to season.
