BOSTON – The Suffolk men's basketball team will meet Mount Ida Tuesday night in a mid-week matchup. The GNAC contest tips off inside the Mustangs' Harold Alfond Center at 5 p.m.

SALUTE TO SENIORS
Prior to tip, Suffolk will honor the playing careers of its five graduating players; Nacho Ballve, Curtis Casella, Adam Chick, Jake Meister and Caleb Unni. These five have helped Suffolk to 30-plus wins over the last four seasons including three post-season GNAC appearances.
DOUBLE DIP
For the sixth and final time this season, the Suffolk basketball teams will take part in a double feature with the women's squad tipping things off at 1 p.m. against Albertus Magnus, before the men's team takes on the Raiders at 3:15 p.m.
In the Rams last doubleheader, the women downed Norwich, 59-49, before the men stormed past the Cadets, 89-59 January 6.
LAST TIME OUT
For the first time this season, the Suffolk men's basketball team put together back-to-back victories as the Rams held off Mount Ida, 81-75, inside the Harold Alfond Center Tuesday night.
All five of Suffolk's starters put together double-figure performances led by Matt Duquette's 24 points. The junior forward shot 9-of-14 from the field and 6-of-9 showing at the line went along with 13 rebounds, two blocks, two assists and one steal. Adam Chick, who made his 100th career appearance tonight in a Rams uniform, just the 14th player in Suffolk history to do so, shot 70 percent (7-10) from the floor for 17 points. Jake Meister and Michael Hagopian registered 14 points and Caleb Unni added 10.
Collectively, the Rams shot 48.3 percent (28-58) from the field, 50 percent from three (10-20) and 75 percent from the stripe (15-20). Suffolk held advantages in rebounds, 38-31, and second chances, 13-0.

RUN DOWN ON THE RAMS
- The Rams, who have won two straight for the first time this season, have bounced to a tie for seventh place in the GNAC standings as Suffolk sits at 4-11 in conference and 6-16 overall.
- Suffolk's 65.2 ppg ranks eighth amongst the GNAC, while the Rams' defense gives up the second-highest points per game, 74.0. As a team, Suffolk is shooting 41.8 percent from the floor, 71.1 at the line and 34.7 percent from three.
- Matt Duquette's team-best 16.2 ppg ranks seventh amongst GNAC players with Jake Meister's 15.5 ppg sits eighth in the league.
- Defesnively, Suffolk's 33.0 rpg is paced by Adam Chick's 5.6 with Duquette and Caleb Unni adding 5.4 and 4.0 boards per game, respectively.
READ UP ON THE RAIDERS
- Rivier owns a 3-19 overall record and 3-12 conference mark heading into Saturdays meeting with the Rams. In the Raiders last game, Rivier fell to the University of Saint Joseph's (Maine), 80-71.
- Andre Ruff has scored a team leading 14.9 ppg this season, shooting 38.4 percent from the floor and 37.5 percent from three. Ruff also leads the team on the glass with 5.3 rpg. Anthony Simmons has chipped in 12.6 ppg and has dished out a team-best 2.8 apg.
WE MEET AGAIN
Sophomore Matt McLean hit a jump shot as time expired to give the Suffolk men's basketball team a 53-51 victory over the Raiders of Rivier inside Muldoon Gymnasium in GNAC action January 9.

CENTURY CONTESTS
With a place in the starting lineup at Mt. Ida Tuesday night, Adam Chick became the 14th player in Suffolk men's basketball history to play in 100 games and the first to do so since John Murphy '07 and Brad Schoonmaker '07 eclipsed the century mark in 2007.
MILESTONE MARKERS
Caleb Unni will look to cement his place in Suffolk men's basketball history this season as he climbs the career ranks. Unni is 13 points shy of becoming the 28th member of Suffolk's 1,000-point club and is on the cusps to eclipse the 100-game mark as the senior guard has made 99 appearances in a Ram uniform.
