Led by five players in double-figures, the #7 Albertus Magnus men's basketball team cruised to a 113-70 win over Suffolk University in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Saturday afternoon to extend its home-court winning streak to 52 games, the longest active home-court winning streak in all levels of NCAA men's basketball. 

The Falcons improve to 19-1 on the year with the Saturday afternoon victory, while they also improve to a perfect 13-0 in GNAC play.  Suffolk drops to 7-12 overall and 4-8 in league action. Victor Ljuljdjuraj (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) shot 6-of-8 from the floor for 17 points, while Lemar Larsen (Waterbury, Conn.) shot a perfect 8-of-8 from the field for a team-high 18 points. He added nine rebounds to his tally. 

Tavon Sledge (Spring Valley, N.Y.) also scored in double figures with 16 points off the bench for the Falcons. Eian Davis (Brooklyn, N.Y.) added a double-double with 14 points and 11 assists. Davis shot 5-of-7 from the floor. 

Julian Sanders (Trumbull, Conn.) added 12 points for the Falcons to round out the double-figure scorers. 

Albertus controlled the game's tempo throughout the entire contest, taking a 55-29 lead at the halftime break.  Suffolk never led as the Falcons opened the contest with a 14-5 run in just over five minutes of play.  With two minutes left in the first half, Albertus led by 26 points. 

Sledge tallied 13 points in the opening half on 5-of-10 shooting, while Larsen was 4-of-4 in the first half for 10 points. 

The Falcons shot an impressive 61.4% from the floor in today's contest, hitting 43 of their 70 attempts.  They also shot 41.2% from behind the arc and hit 20 of their 28 attempts from the free-throw line. 

Albertus scored 56 points in the paint.  They also led by as many as 45 points with 1:17 left in the contest, their largest of the day. 

Suffolk was led by a game-high 20 points from Matt Duquette. The Rams shot 33.8% from the floor and 8-of-31 from behind the arc. 

Albertus is now 17-16 all-time against Suffolk and has won 12 of their last 13 meetings. 

The Falcons return to action on Tuesday night when they travel to Newton, Mass. to take on Mount Ida in a 6:00 p.m. GNAC contest.
