Men's Basketball Drop First Half Finale

The Albertus Magnus College Falcons handed the Suffolk University Men's Basketball team a 99-62 defeat in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Saturday afternoon.

Freshman Frantz Pinard (Arlington, Mass.) finished with a team-high 14 points, while junior Matt Powers (Westwood, Mass.) chipped in with 10 points, but the Falcons were too much for Suffolk to handle as six Albertus players finished the evening with double digit scoring totals.

Albertus shot 56.2-percent from the field, and 47.8 percent (11-for-23) from beyond the arc for their seventh straight victory to start the season as they win their third conference game in a row.

The loss drops Suffolk to 3-6 overall and 1-2 in GNAC play as the Rams will now be idle until January 4th when they take on cross town rival Emerson College.
