Boston, Mass. - Freshman center Matt Pepdjonovic (Quincy, Mass.) was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week on February 8. Pepdjonovic has now received the weekly honor from the league five times this season.
Pepdjonovic posted two double-doubles this week averaging 13 points and 14 rebounds per game. Pepdjonovic scored 16 points and grabbed 17 boards in the Rams' 71-54 win Saturday over Emmanuel.
Pepdjonovic is currently averaging 12.0 rebounds per game which leads the GNAC and ranks him 6th among all NCAA Division-III players.
