BOSTON – Suffolk baseball starts its final week of the regular-season at Gordon Tuesday, April 29. First pitch of the Conference of New England (CNE) contest is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
A three-run, seventh-inning by Western New England put Suffolk baseball in a two-run hole it could not climb out of, which handed the Rams a 5-3 Conference of New England setback in the nightcap of a double feature Sunday at East Boston Memorial Park.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk brings a 12-21 overall mark and 5-8 CNE ledger into Tuesday's action.  

The Rams offense is well-balanced with five different bats producing 30-plus hits in Sam Armbruster (34 H, 20 RBI, 14 R), Chris Cimino (33 H, 18 RBI, 16), Max Martin (33 H, 27 RBI, 20 R), Colin Flynn (31 H, 8 RBI, 15 R) and Max Iorio (30 H, 23 RBI, 22 R).  

Nick Arnett is the probably starter for Suffolk's staff on the bump. He brings in a 7.58 ERA over 29.2 innings in nine appearances, five starts with 18 strikeouts to his credit. 

FIGHTING SCOTS FACTS
Gordon has fallen in six straight to sit 15-20 on the year and 6-8 in CNE contests.  

Offensively, Tyler Wilson has registered a team-best 42 hits with 21 RBI, 26 runs scored and is 23-for-24 in stolen base attempts. CJ Demers (37 H, 24 RBI, 31 R), Hunter Normandin (33 H, 10 RBI, 20 R) and Jonathan McIntyre (31 H, 11 RBI, 11 R) have all contributed 30-plus hits to the Fighting Scots offense.  

Mike Williams (7.40 ERA, 24.1 IP, 21 K), Kevin Whalen (2.86 ERA, 22.0 IP, 14 K) and Sullivan Quirk (2.96 ERA, 27.1 IP, 18 K) could all be possible starters tomorrow.

In a back-and-forth Conference of New England (CNE) clash, Suffolk baseball came up short against Gordon, 6-5, in the 10th inning Tuesday afternoon at East Boston Memorial Park.
