MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Suffolk's baseball's offense never got going, while Rutgers Camden capitalized on a number of Rams mishaps to take down the blue-and-gold, 7-1, Tuesday morning at Ebbets Field as part of the Ripken Experience.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Scarlet Raiders put up one unearned run in every even inning through the sixth to take a 3-0 lead over the Rams.
The teams traded runs in the eighth. Michael James Jr., who doubled to right and took third on a passed ball, came in when Garret Roberts grounded into a double play to eliminate the shutout.
Rutgers Camden registered three runs in the next half inning to put Suffolk in a 7-1 hole. That score held at the final as Dylan Oliver kept the Rams scoreless despite allowing a walk to the first batter he faced, Marc Birbiglia.
PITCHERS PICTURE
- George Breslin suffered the setback after giving up three unearned runs on five hits and three walks with one K in 6.1 innings of action.
- Shreyas Parikh allowed four runs on four hits with one punchout in 2.0 innings of relief.
- Billy Beneke shoved 0.2 frames of scoreless, hitless relief.
- Joey Rappaport earned the win after shoving 7.0 innings of scoreless work. He gave up five hits and three walks and fanned five batters.
- Sebastian Vega came in for 1.0 inning of relief. He let up one run on two hits and one walk.
- Oliver logged 1.0 inning of scoreless, hitless relief with one walk and one strikeout.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Timothy McCarthy went 2-for-4 at the plate to led Suffolk's seven-hit performance.
- Roberts brought in one run on one hit to go along with one walk.
- James' one hit was good for two bags. He scored Suffolk's only run.
- Harry Painter, Birbiglia and Corey Frassica each added one hit.
NOTEWORTHY
- Suffolk and Rutgers Camden met for the second time, first since March 17, 2017.
- Both meetings between Suffolk and Rutgers Camden have come at neutral sites and in the Anthony Del Pete era.
- James and Roberts each extended their hit streak to four games.
- Bibiglia has barreled a hit in the last three games.
