Baseball’s Rossi to Host Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation Advocacy Workshop April 23

BOSTON – Steven Rossi of the Suffolk baseball team, in conjunction with the Center for Student Diversity and Involvement (CSDI) and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will host an advocacy workshop on Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation Friday, April 23. The hour-long zoom is set to begin at 3 p.m.  

Kayla Williams, Deputy Chief of Staff, and Marshele Bryant, Legislative Fellow, from the California's Congresswoman Barbara Lee's office will join the conversation run by Rossi. To register for the event, click here.  

Throughout the semester Rossi, a junior working towards his Bachelors of Science in Law & Public Policy has interned with #BreatheWithMe, a movement to enlist all allies in racial justice. Starting with advocacy workshop next Friday, the Corning, New York local would like to start a movement on Suffolk's campus to grow involvement and empower students to take action.
