BOSTON - Steven Rossi of the Suffolk baseball team was recognized for his collegiate debut on the hill by the conference as the freshman pitcher was tabbed GNAC Rookie of the Week.

Rossi, a native of Corning, New York, put opened his college career on the bump in a 6-0 shutout over Wentworth March 9. The right handed pitcher tossed six scoreless innings in which he let up two hits, four walks and fanned eight batters, the most of any Suffolk arm this season.
