The Suffolk University Baseball team scored 15 runs over the final three innings to defeat the Babson College Beavers on Thursday afternoon in non-conference action. The victory snaps a three game skid for Suffolk as they improve to 22-6 on the year.

Senior Mike Cunningham (Syosset, N.Y.) was 2-for-4 with four RBI and scored three times. The senior cleanup hitter connected on his team leading sixth home run of the season, a three-run blast as part of an eight run ninth inning.

Junior Devan Jones (Roslindale, Mass.) was 2-for-6 with three runs knocked in, including an RBI triple in the seventh. He also knocked in a pair of runs in the ninth with a double down the left field line.

Junior Jake Cintolo (Wrentham, Mass.) was 2-for-4 with three runs scored and a pair of RBI, while junior Mike Muse (Milton, Mass.) also collected a pair of hits and had an RBI double to right as part of a seven run seventh inning for Suffolk.

Sophomore Eli Libby (Sudbury, Mass.) earned the win in relief for the Rams as he pitched three innings of work striking out a pair.

Freshman TJ Fearon (Colchester, Conn.) earned his first career collegiate save as he worked out of a jam in the eighth inning with two runners on in a 12-8 ballgame at the time. Fearon recorded the final four outs of the game, recording the last two on punchouts.

Senior Chris Stanley (Placentia, Calif.) drove in two runs, including the first Suffolk run of the game with an RBI base hit through the left side of the infield for their first run.

Junior James McConville (Medford, Mass.) added a two-run single in the seventh.

Cunningham and Stanley both reach base safely on four separate occasions in the game as each also drew two walks. Suffolk collected 10 walks as a team on the day.

Suffolk will be back in action on Saturday afternoon as they host the Albertus Magnus College Falcons in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) doubleheader beginning at noon on the campus of Tufts University.
