Former Suffolk Star Adam Pellerin Hired By NESN

Former Suffolk University Baseball star Adam Pellerin '02 has joined NESN, the local cable sports network giant and will work as an on-air anchor.

Pellerin graduated from Suffolk in 2002 with a bachelor's of science in Communications and was a four-year member of the baseball program where he appeared in two NCAA Tournaments with the Rams. In four seasons with Suffolk, Pellerin hit .300 with five home runs and 71 RBI for the Rams and was a captain his senior year helping lead Suffolk to their second Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) championship.

Pellerin joins NESN after working for FOX-25 News in Boston where he served as a weekend on-air anchor and also general assignment reporter since 2007. A release on Pellerin's hiring can be found on the NESN website.

The former Suffolk backstop has remained active within the baseball program as well, participating in several of the alumni golf tournaments and has also served as a guest master of ceremonies for the team's senior nights during the spring seasons.
