The Rams would add another run in the sixth as senior Marc Doyle (Whitman, Mass.) extended his hitting streak to nine games with a leadoff single. Junior Eric Del Buono (Westfield, Mass.) would drive home an insurance run later in the inning with a single scoring pinch-runner Mac Jacobson (Norfolk, Mass.).

The Wildcats would threaten in the top half of the seventh inning as junior Nick Alosco (Mahopac, N.Y.) broke up the no-hitter with a double deep into centerfield. Junior Teddy Katz (Pittsburgh, Penn.) would draw a walk to follow that up bringing the tying run to the plate in senior Jon Melendez (Providence, R.I.). Torres would get Melendez to hit into the game ending 4-6-3 double play.

Senior Jeff Jordan(Woodbridge, N.J.) pitched well for the Wildcats scattering 10 hits while striking out three in six innings of work.

In game two, junior Eric Del Buono (Westfield, Mass.) hit a walk-off single with two outs in the bottom half of the seventh inning to lead the Rams to victory 4-3.

Johnson & Wales jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead in the first on a two out double by sophomore Zach Boyes (West Warwick, R.I.).

Suffolk would get on the board in the second taking advantage of a Wildcats’ error that plated Del Buono and in the third the Rams would even the game at 2-2 on a single off the bat of junior Andrew Babb (Ashland, Mass.).

Suffolk would once again take advantage of an infield error in the fifth inning as errant throw plated Barrett for a 3-2 lead.

Senior Rich Fonseca (Riverside, R.I.) would even the game at 3-3 with a single to left with two outs in the bottom half of the sixth chasing Suffolk reliever Chris Campbell (Orchard Park, N.Y.) from the game. Mendez would come into the game leaving the go-ahead runner on second recording a strike out to end the threat.

Junior Nick Simon (Rumford, R.I.) finished the game 3-for-3 for the Wildcats who had 10 hits in the game.

Junior Mark Addesa (Revere, Mass.) was also 3-for-3 for Suffolk.
