Quincy, MA - Suffolk University Baseball took care of Norwich University in a GNAC double header Friday afternoon winning both games; 7-1 and 20-3. The win now stretches Suffolk's season record to 19-4, as they have now won four straight home games this week at Adams Field.

Game 1

The Rams got another solid pitching performance out of senior Tim Doyle (Milton, MA) who now moves to 4-0 on the mound this season for the Rams. Doyle managed to keep the Cadets off balance all day only allowing five hits, and surrending one unearned run.

Senior Keith Carter (Newburyport, MA) was 2-3 in game one for the Rams, as all but one started had a hit in the first game. Sophomore Nick Travelyn (Manchester, NH) had two RBI. Both juniors Rory Gentile (Gloucester, MA) and Bobby Barrett (Milton, MA) hit triples for the Rams.

Game 2

Senior Mike Kenneally (Georgetown, MA) and Bobby Barrett each had four RBI in game two as Suffolk cruised to a 20-3 victory. Kenneally and Travelyn each finished the game with three hits for Suffolk. Sophomores Jose Alejandro (Lowell, MA), Jon Handy (South Burlington, VT), Mark Addesa (Revere, MA) all knocked in two runs a piece. Sophomore Alex Torres (Framingham, MA) picked up the win on the mound throwing 4 1/3, while freshman Tim Belanger (Raynham, MA) pitched well in relief going the rest of the way.

Suffolk is back in action tomorrow as they host Albertus Magnus College in a GNAC double header beginning at 12 pm at Adams Field.
