BOSTON – Suffolk Athletics saw a wide range of successes by its 13 varsity teams in 2014-15 and fans can now view the Rams achievements in competition, the classroom and the community in the Year in Review.

The athletic highlight for Suffolk in 2014-15 was hit by the baseball team as it claimed its fifth GNAC title and made its fifth appearance in the NCAA Tournament in the program’s 68-year history. On the other diamond, softball turned in one of the most impressive seasons in its history as the Rams put together an 11-game win streak to earn the top-seed into the conference’s tournament and a place in the ECAC Division III New England Softball Championship. Overall, 12 of Suffolk’s 13 teams qualified for post season play.

In the classroom, Suffolk athletes combined for a grade-point average of 3.173 with 57 individuals earning all-conference academic recognition – 47 GNAC, 10 ECAC. In addition, 13 Rams achieved a 4.0 grade-point average over the course of 2014-15, with men’s basketball junior Caleb Unni, hockey junior Brett Roman and volleyball junior Caitlyn Mockler reaching the milestone in both the fall and spring semesters.

Suffolk student-athletes extended their reach into the community as they worked with a number of charities including Team IMPACT, Play4Kay and Best Buddies.
