Four Suffolk Athletes Earn Recongnition

Men's Basketball player Brian Small (Stoughton, MA) was named GNAC Player of the Week for the week of February 2nd. Two weeks removed from appendectomy surgery, Small led Suffolk to a 112-107 victory over Lasell College on Saturday. Small had 38 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists to guide the Rams to the win. In his first game back on Thursday against Mt. Ida, Small also collected 22 points and 14 rebounds.

Suffolk Basketball players Mike Gibbons (Ringwood, NJ) and Meghan Tracey (Rehoboth, MA) were each named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll for their respective sports. Gibbons connected on 10 3-point field goals on the week and averaged 18.5 points per game. Gibbons had 19 points in Suffolk's victory Lasell on Saturday. Tracey led Suffolk with 14 points in a 60-53 victory over Lasell College on Saturday. Tracey also picked up 14 rebounds in the game, including 12 defensive rebounds. 

John Rocchio (East Greenwich, RI) of Suffolk Hockey was named to the ECAC Northeast Weekly Honor Roll. The senior forward scored 2 goals and had an assist in Saturday's 8-5 loss to Stonehill. Rocchio also added an unassisted goal on Thursday. On the week Rocchio scored 3 goals for the Rams.
