Suffolk

Anna Orfanidis joined Suffolk Athletics as an Athletic Trainer prior to the start of the 2021-22 campaign. She will assist in the rehabilitation and treatment of the Rams' 19 intercollegiate teams.  

Orfanidis comes to Suffolk having recently worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Sacred Heart where she worked primarily with the women’s basketball, rugby and rowing programs. 

Prior to her stint with the Pioneers, Orfanidis was an athletic trainer for the Chinese Olympic Committee. With the COC she worked with the women’s ice hockey team, as well as cross country skiers and spent time at the National Sport Training Center.    

Additionally, Orfanidis has held numerous clinical positions during her undergraduate work at Springfield.  

A 2018 graduate of Springfield with a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Orfanidis obtained her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in healthcare administration from the Jack Welch College of Business at Sacred Heart in 2021. Along with her degrees, she holds numerous certifications in the field and is bilingual in Greek and English.
