102 Rams Receive CNE Spring All-Academic

CNE RELEASE | 2024-25 CNE SPRING ALL-ACADEMIC

BEVERLY, Mass. – Suffolk had a record 102 Rams among the 1,025 student-athletes recognized on the Conference of New England (CNE) Spring All-Academic Team. 

In order to receive the distinction, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale) and must have attained sophomore status (year two) at their current institution. Graduate transfers, regardless of enrollment at their current institution, are eligible.  

Suffolk's 100-plus honorees  hail from the blue-and-gold's baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's ice hockey, women's lacrosse, men's tennis, softball and men's and women's outdoor track & field teams. The 102 individuals tied for the third-most institution wise along with Nichols. Endicott topped the list with 147 honorees and Western New England slid into second with 112. 

When broken down by sport, Will Feldman's women's outdoor track & field team had 29 recipients, which was not just a Suffolk individual team high, but was the most individuals from a single program honored across every institution that made the list. The men's outdoor track & field team on the other hand had 10 along with the Mutts from the baseball diamond. Men's Ice Hockey saw 18 honorees and softball rounded out the teams with double-digit distinctions with 11.
