BOSTON – In lieu of the cancellation of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) 2020-21 winter season, Suffolk Athletics is proud to unveil our "Ram of the Week" Award, which will be presented every Monday to one student-athlete from the competing teams, voted by Ram Nation via Twitter poll

AND THE WINNER IS … 

For the second time in as many weeks, Natalie Fraioli of the Suffolk women's basketball team took home the Ram of the Week honor. The junior edged out women's hockey's Halle Usselgio in the last hour of voting, collecting 42 percent of the 146 votes cast. 

Fraioli aided to the Rams' 2-0 week over Curry that extended the blue-and-gold's win streak to four. The guard averaged 15.5 points per game behind a 65 percent connection rate with 3.5 rebounds per outing as well that helped Suffolk start 5-1 for the first time since 2003-04. 

The Sutton, Massachusetts, local opened the weekend with 16-point performance with a pair of boards and assists, respectively, in the 71-41 victory over the Colonels. A day later, Fraioli contributed 15 points, five caroms and three handouts in the 72-59 comeback win at Curry.

In her first collegiate appearance and start, senior Halle Ussesglio stopped all 10 shots she faced to backstop Suffolk to a 6-0 cleansheet at Anna Maria Saturday night at the New England Sports Center. 

3RD PLACE – 12 % - WILLIAM ROWE – MEN'S BASKETBALL
2 GP – 16.5 PPG – 68.4 FG% - 10.0 RPG 

William Rowe was an asset to Suffolk's 2-0 weekend against Curry, averaging a double-double of 16.5 ppg and 10.0 rpg to help the Rams begin 5-1 for the first time since the 1977-78 campaign. He opened the week with 10 points and nine rebounds in a 95-83 victory at Curry. The next day he notched the first double-double of his collegiate career with a personal-best 23 points and 11 caroms in a 105-53 offensive onslaught of the Colonels.
