Real Players Don’t Bully: Ram Nation Takes Stand in Bullying Prevention Month

Take the Pledge

BOSTON – Throughout the month of October Suffolk athletics united in a campaign to keep all youth safe from bullying.

Members of Ram Nation shared how they would make bullying history via first-hand quotes on the department’s social media channels.

More than one out of every five students will be bullied this year. This is probably happening to someone you know and care about.

  • Support others who have been hurt or harmed
  • Treat others will kindness
  • Be more accepting of people’s differences
  • Help include those who are left out

Members of the University athletic department’s 19 varsity teams took the pledge that helps create a world without bullying through kindness, acceptance and inclusion.

“I pledge to support others who have been hurt or harmed,
treat others with kindness,
be more accepting of people’s differences,
and help include those who are left out.”
