Rams Rewind: Iliana Quadri Scores 1,000th, February 3, 2015

BOSTON – Ram Nation now has the chance to get a glimpse into Suffolk Athletics history though clippings and pictures from the Rams’ record books and archives.

On this date six year ago, February 3, 2015, Iliana Quadri etched her name in the women’s basketball history as the 13th member of the Rams’ 1,000-point club.

The then-senior guard entered the contest across town at UMass Boston just five points shy of the milestone moment. Just 2:20 into the Beantown battle, the Sudbury, Massachusetts, local sealed the deal when she buried her third field goal of the night.

Quadri went on to finish the game with 12 points behind a 5-for-12 effort from the floor with six boards, two takeaways, one assist and one swat in the 63-44 setback to the Beacons.

Today, the two-time All-GNAC honoree sits 13th on the Rams’ all-time scoring list with 1,124 to her credit.
