Joining the tennis team at Suffolk University was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It was a built in group of friends at the University; a group of girls and coaches that were an amazing support group.

Each season we would look forward to getting in the van together and blast music on the way to practice and matches. We were always laughing with one another and believing in one another, always wanting the best for each other because we are not only teammates, but friends. Everyone on the team is so dedicated, it was amazing and I will definitely miss it.

I am so fortunate that Suffolk has a tennis team and was able to connect me to the people I have met over the years. The coaches were amazing, motivating me every practice and match, and helped us all become better players and people. They were able to pass on their knowledge of the sport to us, and taught me so much. I owe everything to my coaches Steve Counihan and Matthew Tiberii for helping me throughout my college tennis career and making me a better player.

For the future tennis players -- know that everyone is there for you. For school, your personal life, and your athletic life, your team is your family and will always support you. Thank you to the Suffolk University Athletics Department for giving me the opportunity to grow into the person I am today and I wish the best for all the future tennis players!
