BOSTON, MA - Suffolk University (5-11, 3-4 GNAC) earned a 3-1
victory over Saint Joseph's (6-16, 0-5 GNAC) on Tuesday evening.
Katie Boccanelli '12 (Cottonwood,
AL) led the Lady Monks with 13 kills and four blocks and added nine
digs in the four-set loss.
Samantha Varrell '12 (Portsmouth,
NH) continues to play well for Head Coach John Razsa and posted a
double-double effort, her sixth of the season, with 24 assists and
15 digs in the conference match.
Amanda Ruel '09 (Biddeford, NH)
recorded a season-high 12 digs, Kiersten
Carbone '12 (North Reading, MA) notched nine digs
and four service aces and Mary
Hoyt '11 (Rochester, NH) had nine digs in the
losing effort.
Saint Joseph's will host GNAC foe Rivier College (11-10, 2-1 GNAC)
on Thursday at 7:00 PM.
