view in landscape for a better experience

COACH'S CORNER

Will Feldman returns for his sixth season at the helm of the Suffolk cross country and track & field programs.

He has brought the Rams to regional and national success in his short term at the helm highlighted by the CCC Women's Championship a year ago and the University's first USTFCCCA All-American in cross country, Matyas Csiki-Fejer.

Back on Feldman's staff is Josh Brodin, who returns for his fifth season. Skyler Spanbauer joins the coaching ranks this year after a four-year career as a Ram.

SUFFOLK INVITE

Suffolk will be hosting its fourth Suffolk Invite on Saturday, Oct. 15.

The Suffolk Invite has grown into one of the premiere cross country meets in New England. We will have another large field of competitors including schools traveling from as far away as Texas to compete this year.

BATTLE FOR BOSTON COMMON

For the fourth time, Suffolk will go head-to-head with its Beantown neighbor, Emerson.

The Rams have taken home the title of the neighborly competition since its inception in 2018.

REGIONAL RANKS

A week and a half away from the first event of the 2022 season, Suffolk women's cross country appeared in the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Preseason Regional Rankings as the ninth team in the East, the national organization unveiled.

RAMS ROSTER

Suffolk has 17 Rams on roster for the 2021 campaign.

class categories

Suffolk's line-up is evenly divided with every class represented. There are a pair of seniors and graduate students, respectively, four juniors, six sophomores and a trio of true freshmen.

GEOGRAPHY 101

The Rams talent comes from 10 states. Not more than four individuals are from the same place with the most representation being Massachusetts. A trio traveled cross country from California with a pair of Michigan and New York, respectively. Illinois, Maine, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Texas are represented by one student-athlete apiece.

RAMS RINGLEADERS

Juniors Sydney Fogg and Jocelyn Triscik, have been named captains of Suffolk women's cross country for the 2022 campaign.

The duo will be the first captains of the Rams' roster since Olivia Chilcott took on the job solo in 2021. Fogg and Triscik share the captain role and are the first twosome to do so since future Hall of Famers Emily Manfra and Emma Weisse held the job in back-to-back seasons, 2018-19.

Rams rookies

Suffolk women's cross country head coach Will Feldman brought in a talented five-member recruiting class to boost the Rams' roster in 2022.

We took a different approach with this year's class. Our roster is extremely young, and lacking experience despite winning the CCC title last season. Our efforts were focused on bringing in graduate transfers who would not only contribute as point scorers, but also provide the leadership and experience that we will need this season.
