CCC CHAMPIONSHIPS

  • The CCC has crowned a cross country champion dating back to 1998 for the women and 2000 for the men with the exception of the 2020 season for both sides due to COVID-19.
  • Gordon will host the event.
  • On the women's side, the University of New England has five overall crowns. Gordon has also won the meet five times over the last 23 seasons.
  • Suffolk's women have raced twice and captured the title both times.

RAMS AT CCCs

  • Suffolk's women claimed the 2021 and 2022 CCC Championships.
  • In 2021, three Suffolk women earned all-conference. Last year, Suffolk saw six of its top seven runners garner All-CCC recognition with a finish in the top five, hands down the most all-league performers in a single season for the Rams – Katelynn Brunt (23:45), Ellie Davis (24:00.7) Skyler Goodman (24:21.7), Amy Pattelena(24:27.4), Sarah Roberts (24:38.0) and Sydney Fogg (24:48.5).
  • Brunt's third-place performance last season is the best individual finish by a blue-and-gold female at the meet.

COACH'S QUOTE
"I fully expect our women to be in a tough battle with a talented Endicott squad that is ranked 10th in the region," head coach Will Feldman.

"This team has a wealth of experience and has consistently risen to the challenge when the lights are the brightest. With how well we raced against some of the top squads in the country at Bates and Eau Claire this season I know we're more than prepared for Saturday."
RAMS RUNDOWN

  • Ellie Davis and Amy Pattelena are both capable of top five finishes.
  • The duo of Sarah Roberts, and Sydney Fogg should all behind the top 8-14 to earn All-CCC honors.
  • Bailey Ford and Emily Concepcion will be the two biggest wild cards for the Rams. The former could very easily wind by being the deciding factor for Suffolk to secure its third straight title.

LAST TIME OUT
With just five Rams on the course, Suffolk women's cross country put together an 18th-place performance at the Suffolk Invitational Saturday.
