THE COURSE

THE FIELD
The men's race will feature five regionally ranked squads – Tufts, Colby, Bowdoin, Babson and Suffolk -- two of which appear in the latest national rankings in No. 25 Tufts and No. 27 Colby.

The women, meanwhile, have three regionally ranked teams in the field in Tufts, Bowdoin and Colby. Both the Jumbos and Polar Bears appear in the national rankings as well at No. 13 and No. 34, respectively.

  • After a strong showing at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational, the blue-and-gold's goal this weekend is to defeat Babson and move up to seventh in the regional rankings by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), a feat yet to be achieved by the Suffolk program.
  • Freshman Sean Jacobsen stepped up for the Rams in a big way at UMass Dartmouth and is looking to build upon last week's success.
  • Junior captain Tim Barry struggled a week ago and aims to bounce back this week against some of the top rivals in the region.

RAMS RUNDOWN [ WOMEN ]

  • The Rams women will be close to full strength with five of the Suffolk's top six runners in the field.
  • Sophomore Katelynn Brunt is going to be a key contributor this weekend and crucial to the team's success.
  • The top trio of Ellie DavisSydney Fogg and Skyler Goodman will compete on the same course for the first time this season.
  • Suffolk is aiming for a top five team finish to reemerge back into the regional ranks.
