LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk volleyball returned to the win column in sweeping fashion as the Rams stormed past Southern Maine in straight sets Tuesday night at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court. The victory came via set scores 25-22, 25-19 and 25-16.

SUFFOLK SAYINGS
The Rams returned to the win column Tuesday with when they swept Southern Maine to bring an 8-6 ledger into Thursday's tangle.  

McKenna Keowen, who became the third Suffolk player in program history to surpass 700 kills Tuesday night, powers the blue-and-gold's attack with 2.53 kps. Jessica Weber is the only other Ram with over 2.00 kps at 2.21. Jayla Martinez and Aislinn Lanigan share the setter role, dishing out 4.55 assists per set and 3.50 assists per set, respectively. Morgan Kelsey adds to the offense from the service line with 0.73 aces per set. 

Kelsey leads the defense with 4.10 dps. Keowen (2.98 dps) and Tatum Kalt (2.50 dps) are consistent contributors in the back row as well with Sami Shore's 0.75 bps leading at the net. 

FRAMINGHAM STATE FACTS
Framingham State (11-2) rides a 10-match win streak including two straight set decisions into Thursday's outing. 

Hailey Sanders' 3.38 kps pace the Rams' 11.38 kps that receives 2.78 kps from Natalie Reynolds and 2.54 kps by Anna Szymansi. Stella Bailey has held down the setter's job with 8.89 assists per set to her credit. 

Anneli DiVirgilio's 3.33 dps tops FSU's defense. Szymanski chips in 2.49 dps and Bailey adds 2.33 dps. Reynolds and Sanders are threats at the net with 0.53 bps and 0.49 bps, respectively. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Since 2003, Suffolk its 2-14 all-time against Framingham State. 
  • The Boston Rams and FSU Rams renewed a rivalry a year ago in Beantown. FSU won the five-set outing. 
  • Suffolk looks to snap a three-match skid against Framingham State and defeat FSU for the first time since Oct. 7, 2017.
