BOSTON – Suffolk volleyball takes a break from conference competition Thursday, Oct. 7 when it hosts Mitchell in a 7 p.m. non-league match at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court.

SUFFOLK ATHLETICS 2021-22 FAN POLICY
Suffolk University Athletics, following guidance from the University's health and safety protocols, Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), Centers for Disease Control and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, plans to allow fans to attend home athletic contests during the 2021-22 academic and athletic year.

Fans, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, can attend games. They must be masked the entire time they are on campus, pursuant to institutional policy, and complete a health screening form at the security desk of each building upon arrival. This policy applies to home contests played on campus at the Ridgeway Building's Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court, as well as the Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink and the Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

For outdoor outings, specifically at East Boston Memorial Park, fans are asked to respect COVID safety protocols. At this time, masks will not be mandated for fans no matter vaccinated status at outdoor venues.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk women's volleyball took the first set, but could not hold off Wentworth, who strung three set victories together, to take a 3-1 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) win over the Rams Tuesday at Larry E. & Michael S. Smith Court. The conference contest was determined by set scores 19-25, 25-18, 25-22 and 25-8.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk has fallen in five straight to slip to 5-10 on the year. 

McKenna Keowen has been a force on both sides of the ball with team-leading numbers in 3.09 kps off a .242 attack clip. The freshman adds 2.41 dps, good for third on the squad. 

The offense receives 1.92 kps from Jasmine James and 1.60 kps by Julia Leavey. Harmony Johnson and Jayla Martinez split time as Suffolk's setter with 5.02 aps and 4.04 aps, respectively.

The defense sees Kenzley Bell (3.03) and Morgan Kelsey (3.00) each providing over 3.00 dps, while Alina Nowakowski adds 0.67 bps.

MARINERS MAKE-UP
Similar to Suffolk, Mitchell (3-9) has fall in five straight. 

Bree Rundolph's 1.83 kps leads the attack that sees 1.78 kps from Olivia DeLoach and 1.64 kps by Molly Steel-Miller. Claire Binfield has taken on the bulk of the setting role with 6.46 aps to her credit.

Stephanie Costabile's 3.35 dps paces the defensive unit. DeLoach adds 3.19 dps and Jade Cain pitches in 0.62 bps.
