BEVELRY, Mass. – The Suffolk volleyball team forced a fourth frame with a run-away third set, but could not complete the comeback as Endicott put away the way, 3-1, at MacDonald Gymnasium Saturday afternoon. The Commonwealth Coast Conference was decided by set scores 25-16, 25-23, 18-25 and 25-15.

SET ONE RECAP (25-16, ENDICOTT)
- Endicott build a 11-6 lead that forced Suffolk into a timeout.
- The Gulls continued to soar with a 6-2 run out of the break to take a 17-8 cushion.
- Down nine, Suffolk used its last timeout of the set, but never rallied to comeback.
SET TWO RECAP (25-23, ENDICOTT)
- Suffolk clung to the early edge in a tight second stanza, 6-5.
- Three straight points from Endicott flipped the script in the hosts favor, 8-6.
- Points played ping-pong from there to keep things close with the blue-and-gold down one, 16-15.
- A kill by Endicott's Colleen McAvoy spear headed a 4-0 spurt by the Gulls that made it a 21-16 score.
- Suffolk used both of its breaks quickly and the back-to-back huddles proved to help.
- The Rams put together a 6-1 run to level the playing field at 22-all.
- Endicott held the advantage as it coupled a pair of points together to set up set point, 24-22.
- Julia Leavey's kill kept the Gulls from taking the frame.
- Not for long though, as Krystina Schueler responded for the host with a kill of her own to give the Gulls the set.
SET THREE RECAP (25-18, SUFFOLK)
- It was all Suffolk from the get-go as the blue-and-gold put the first three points on the board to go up 10-4.
- That advantage nearly doubled in the Rams' favor, 20-9.
- Endicott surged back with five straight points to pull within six, 20-14.
- A McKenna Keowen kill ended the scoring draught, but the Gulls bounced back with another three points to make it a four-point set, 21-17.
- Suffolk managed to pull it together to close out the set on a 4-1 spurt.
SET FOUR RECAP (25-15, ENDICOTT)
- Out of a 5-all tie, Endicott turned in a 5-0 run that was followed up by a 7-2 stretch that gave the Gulls a 17-8 gap.
- See-saw action did not help a Rams' comeback as the double-digit distance remained, 22-11.
- Jayla Martinez managed to spark a little something with a kill. The freshman's point saw the visitors go on a 4-1 stretch to cut the margin down to eight, 23-15.
- Endicott secured the set and win thanks to a kill from Amanda Gilbert followed by an ace by Collen McAvoy.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Keowen was on the verge of a double-double with 14 kills and nine digs to go with five aces, one block and a pair of helpers.
- Emily Wheeler and Leavey supplied eight kills and seven kills, respectively to the Rams' 43-kill attack.
- Alina Nowakowski chipped in six kills and two blocks.
- Martinez registered 20 assists, while Harmony Johnson handed out 13 helpers as the freshman, junior pair set up the attack.
- Kenzley Bell logged 12 digs and four assists.
NOTEWORTHY
- The Rams renewed a rivalry with Endicott, meeting for the first time since 2014.
- Suffolk and Endicott played more than three sets for the first time in the all-time series.
