BOSTON – Suffolk women's basketball takes its six-game win streak to Dudley, Massachusetts, Saturday, Feb. 10 for a 1 p.m. Commonwealth Coast Conference clash at Nichols.

LAST TIME OUT
In the first-ever meeting between Suffolk women's basketball and Hartford at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court, Amanda DeAngelis led the Rams past the Hawks, 72-62, in a contest that featured 13 lead changes and six ties. DeAngelis finished with a game-high 27 points to pace the blue-and-gold's offensive output Tuesday night.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk secured its sixth straight victory with a 72-62 decision over Hartford Tuesday night to move to 17-5 on the season. In CCC contests, the Rams are 10-3. The six wins in a row are the most for the blue-and-gold since matching that number March 6-25, 2021. 

Amanda DeAngelis, who has put together a double-double in the last five contests, averages a double-double with team-leading numbers in points (16.8) and rebounds (11.7) per game. Lauren Romito is on the verge of producing a double-double of her own per game with 13.0 ppg and 9.6 rpg to her credit. The graduate student is second on the squad in both of those categories. 

Colby Guinta and Jordan Moreau have broke into double figures in scoring with 10.1 ppg and 10.0 ppg, respectively. 

BISON BREAKDOWN
Nichols is .500 (11-11) on the year and 6-7 in CCC contests after beating Anna Maria, 110-106, and Wentworth, 81-57, in its last two outings.  

Abrianna Vazquez is an offensive force for the Bison with 20.2 ppg nearly a quarter of the squad's 86.32 ppg.  Kiera Fernandes (16.2 ppg), Summer Klein (12.0 ppg) and Alyvia Smith (10.1 ppg) all add double figures to Nichols offensive output.  

Defensively, Klein's 4.7 rpg tops the team's effort on the glass that receives 4.5 rpg from Angie Coletti.

Five Rams poured in double figures to lead Suffolk women's basketball to a 96-70 Commonwealth Coast Conference victory over Nichols Saturday afternoon at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court

Amanda DeAngelis of the Suffolk women's basketball team secured a spot on the New England Women's Basketball Association's (NEWBA) Team of the Week, the regional organization unveiled. The senior captain was selected to the second team after she anchored the Rams to a 2-0 week with 18.0 points and 13.0 rebounds per game.
