LAST TIME OUT
The Commonwealth Coast Conference action at the Alumni Healthful Living Center Tuesday night came down to the wire as the Suffolk women's basketball trailed by 17 at the half, came back, tied at the game in the third and forced Western New England to win the game at the foul line, which it did, 67-60.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk has traded wins and losses in the New Year to sit 10-4 on the season and 4-3 in CCC action.  

Amanda DeAngelis and Lauren Romito power the Rams offensively and defensively. The former averages a double-double of team-top numbers of 15.0 ppg and 11.5 rpg. The latter, meanwhile, pitches in 12.8 ppg and brings down 8.9 rpg.  

BISON BREAKDOWN
Nichols fell at Endicott, 98-72, Tuesday to bring a 6-7 overall mark and 3-3 CCC ledger into Saturday's action.  

Abrianna Vazquez leads the Bison's offense with 21.6 ppg to her credit. Kiera Fernandes (16.3 ppg), Summer Kelin (12.6 ppg), Adriana Romano (10.3 ppg) and Alyvia Smith (10.1 ppg) factor into the scoring conversation as well.  

Defensively, Klein's 5.2 rpg leads the way. Angie Coletti and Leandra Ortiz add 4.2 rpg each to the team's 35.9 rpg effort. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk is 13-12 all-time against Nichols. 
  • The Rams have won four games in a row against the Bison.
  • The Rams are 8-1 against the Bison under Ed Leyden's leadership. 
  • At home, Suffolk is 8-4 against the Bison.
