Every healthy player on roster contributed to Suffolk women's basketball's convincing 67-52 Commonwealth Coast Conference victory over Wentworth Saturday afternoon at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk sits 10-3 on the year and 4-2 versus CCC counterparts.  

Amanda DeAngelis and Lauren Romito lead the Rams offensively and defensively. DeAngelis tops the team in both categories with a double-double of 14.8 ppg and 11.5 rpg. Romito, meanwhile pours in 12.6 ppg and grabs 9.0 rpg.  

GET TO KNOW THE GOLDEN BEARS
Western New England rides a six-game win streak that put it at 10-3 on the year and 4-1 in CCC play.  

Shaina Cooney and Lindsey Carey pace the Golden Bears' 70.0 ppg. The former paces the way with 12.3 ppg, while the latter provides 10.1 ppg. 

Defensively, Cooney's 7.0 rpg anchors WNE's 43.9 rpg effort. Abby Garaban and Lilly Hedge add 5.7 rpg and 5.0 rpg, respectively. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk and Western New England will meet for the 17th time Tuesday in a series dating back to 1995-96. 
  • The series is even at 8-8. 
  • Suffolk looks to snap a three-game skid versus WNE.
