Colby Guinta tied the game with four seconds in regulation to force overtime where Suffolk women's basketball trailed by as many as six before storming back to take down Salve Regina, 97-93, in a pre-Thanksgiving matchup Tuesday at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk women's basketball is off to its best start, 3-0, since 2011-12.  

The Rams success is thanks in large part the upperclassman pair of Amanda DeAngelis and Lauren Romito. DeAngelis leads the way offensive and defensively as the senior averages a double-double of 17.0 ppg and 14.0 rpg. Romito, meanwhile, is on the verge of a double-double average with 13.3 ppg and 9.7 rpg. Colby Guinta and Jordan Moreau supply 10.7 ppg and 10.0 ppg, respectively, to the blue-and-gold's 76.3 ppg offense. 

VIKINGS VIEW
Salem State assembled a 4-1 record with victories over Elms (87-82), Salve Regina (81-77), Johnson & Wales (66-53) and Gordon (75-67) and a 64-51 setback at Lasell.  

The Vikings' 72.0 ppg offense sees a quartet of players averaging double figures in Abuk Teng (16.6 ppg), Kylie Gates (15.2 ppg), Ernidia Goncalves (14.2 ppg) and Nicolette D'Itria (10.6 ppg). 

Defensively, Goncalves' 12.2 rpg paces SSU's 48.2 rpg effort on the glass. Teng pitches in 8.0 rpg and D'Itria adds 7.4 rpg.  

INSIDE THE SERIES

• Suffolk defeated Salem State in back-to-back meetings to move to level the all-time series that dates to 2000-01 at 2-all. 
• On the road, the Rams are 1-1 against SSU. 
• In Boston, the blue-and-gold is unbeaten, 1-0 against the Vikings.

Suffolk women's basketball's Jordan Moreau collected Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week after helping the Rams rally past Salve Regina, 97-93, in overtime Nov. 21, the league office announced Monday.
