BOSTON – Suffolk women's basketball will play away from home for the first time in 2022-23 Thursday, Nov. 17 when it makes the short trip across the Boston Commons to Emerson for a 7 p.m. tip-off.

Suffolk women's basketball picked up its first win of the 2022-23 campaign as it defeated Salem State, 71-54, Tuesday night at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk sits 1-1 on the year after defeating Salem State, 71-54, Tuesday.
Amanda DeAngelis is averaging a double-double of 19.0 ppg and 14.5 rpg to pace the Rams on both ends of the hardwood. Colby Guinta sits second on the squad in scoring with 10.0 ppg, while Katie Kirsch and Maddie Stewart both supply 7.5 ppg.
Kirsch and Stewart factor into the rebounding conversation as well. The former grabs 7.5 rpg and the latter pulls down 6.0 rpg along with Arlenis Veloz.
LIONS LOOK
Emerson opened the year with a 71-64 win over Wentworth, but has fallen in three in a row to sit at 1-3 on the year.
Ella Bushee is the only player producing double digits with 13.5 ppg to anchor the Lions' 49.8 ppg offense. Olivia Deslauriers and Devin Hill add 8.8 ppg and 8.0 ppg, respectively.
Defensively, Hill paces the pack with 5.3 rpg and Bushee pitches in 4.8 rpg.
INSIDE THE SERIES
