A flagship academic building, the Sawyer Building is a one-stop shop for classes, clubs and leadership opportunities, and a quick bite between classes.

Whether students are here for class, a Suffolk radio show, or to hang out, the Sawyer building is always bustling.

The 10-FLOOR, high rise building in downtown boston was completed in 1914 and became home of the Sawyer business school in 1981.

Suffolk's Art & Design department occupies multiple floors within the Sawyer Building boasting open studio classrooms, computer labs and art gallery, a lighting studio, and a materials library.

Students have access to a full wood shop (with a fabrication lab and 3D printer) and a print studio to experience with different art techniques.

The Sullivan Studio Theatre is the home of thought-provoking productions written, directed, and designed by students, giving them a one-of-a-kind opportunity to create original work.

Studio classes are experiential as well as practical, giving students opportunities to further explore acting, direction, and signing.

Plus, students can study hands-on in the sound and lighting design labs.

Suffolk's Student Leadership and Involvement office (SLI) offers numerous opportunities for students to participate in leadership programs such as the Journey Leadership Program.

The SLI office also facilitates and supports over 100+ student clubs and organizations.

Finance students can test their trading skills in the Trading Room, a resource amid real-world stock-exchange conditions.
