One Court Street is Suffolk's newest residence hall.

Suffolk's newest residence hall is also Boston's first skyscraper.

1 Court Street, Boston, MA 02108

One Court Street is a Romanesque tower that, at 14 stories, qualified as the city’s tallest building until the construction of the nearby Custom House Tower 20 years later.

Listed in the National Register of Historic Places and an officially designated Boston landmark, the Ames has lived many lives, as an office building, boutique hotel, and now as a home for Suffolk University undergraduates.

Suffolk student occupancy of One Court Street began in the fall of 2020.

ACCOMODATIONS

Approximately 30 percent of incoming students will be assigned to the One Court Street residence hall.

The building has on-site laundry facilities, game rooms, and study lounges.

Lounge spaces on the upper floors of the residence hall offer unbeatable city views.

ROOM STYLES

There are double, triple, quad, 5-person, 6-person, and 8-person living spaces in One Court Street.

Each space has the same bedroom furniture as the residence halls.

Each living space has its own bathroom, some larger spaces have two bathrooms. Residents are responsible for maintaining the bathroom, including providing supplies and cleaning the facility.

Roommates can rearrange their dorm rooms to truly make the space their own.

Standard to all Suffolk rooms is a bed, desk, closet, and drawers for each student.
