BOSTON – Suffolk volleyball has added depth to its line-up for 2022 as head coach Scott Blanchard recruited a four-member class that features a trio of true freshmen in Aislinn Campbell, Grace Cervenka and Chloe Clemente and sophomore Jess Weber.
"Very excited about the addition of these four," Blanchard said. "They provide added depth at all the attacking positions, as well as push to be starters."
Blanchard continued, "They all bring a wealth of club experience, and with their size, they add to our physicality at the net."
The quartet will be sprinkled into a roster that features a dozen returners from a squad that went 11-17 overall and 3-6 in CCC action, good for the seventh seed spot in the league's playoffs.
The Rams push to exceed expectations in 2022 and will rely on the mixture of experience and excited newcomers to get the job done.
The 27th edition of Suffolk volleyball opens its campaign at the ENC Invitational over Labor Day Weekend. At the Lahue Athletic Center, the blue-and-gold will battle against Wellesley (Sept. 2), Eastern Nazarene (Sept. 3) and Maine Presque Isle (Sept. 3).
