Boston, MA - The Emmanuel College Saints (12-4, 7-0 GNAC) remained unbeaten in Great Northeast Athletic Conference play defeating the Suffolk University Rams (5-12, 2-5 GNAC) 3-1 on Tuesday evening. Despite several scares from the Rams the Saints managed the hold on to games three and four for the match victory.
Senior Kelsey Armstrong-Hann (Corvallis, OR) had a team-high 11 kills, including six in the Rams' game two victory, and eight digs on the evening. Sophomore Melissa Griffin (Byfield, MA) had nine kills, one service ace and five digs. Junior Kelly Loder (Billerica, MA) had eight kills on the night to go along with two solo blocks and three blocking assists, as well as three digs and a service ace.
The Rams will be back in action on Thursday as they travel to Salem State College for a non-conference match at 6:00pm.
