Women’s Indoor Track & Field Trio Competes at NEICAAA Championships

BOSTON – Suffolk women's indoor track & field saw three upperclassmen race at the 2024 New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships over the weekend. The group were the first-ever Rams to compete at the indoor edition of the historic meet.

The threesome was among the top 32 athletes from a New England school across all three NCAA Divisions in each event invited to the second oldest track and field meet organized in the United States, dating back to 1887.

Emily Concepcion raced to a school record in the 400 as the junior made her one lap around the track in 58.10 to claim 10th in the 27-runner field.

Amanda Walden dashed to 14th in the 60 with a 7.96 and Sydney Fogg finished 15th in the 1000 with a time of 3:05.71.

This weekend's action capped off the 2023-24 indoor slate.
