Indoor Track & Field Prepped for USATF New England Indoor Track & field Championship

BOSTON – Suffolk men's and women's indoor track & field has one final event to qualify for NCAA Division III New England's, this weekend's USATF New England Track & Field Championship presented by the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) at Harvard University's Gordon Indoor Track.

RAMS TO WATCH [ MEN ]

  • Turner Mitchell will look to break the school 200 record after posting a personal record of 23.19 a week ago at Boston University's David Hemery Valentine Invitational.
  • In the 5k, Sean Jacobsen, Jacob Dubin, Cam Fredette will all attempt to break the 16-minute barrier. Only four Rams in the program's record books have run under 16 minutes.
  • Evan Wright, Luke Sikora and Kely Maloney will take one more shot at qualifying for New Englands in the 800.
  • Tim Barry will look to break the school record in the mile.
  • Gavin Reid will make his season debut in the high jump.
