Relays, Runners Represent Women’s Indoor Track & Field at New Englands

WATERVILLE, Maine – Suffolk women's indoor track & field sent ten Rams up to Waterville, Maine over the weekend to compete at Division III New Englands at Colby College's Indoor Competition Center. 

All 10 of Suffolk's student-athletes at the even were first time regional performers. The ten blue-and-gold participants are the most Rams to compete at New Englands, upstaging the previous mark of four, which was set back in 2019-20.  

Suffolk ventured to regionals for the fourth time in program history, first since 2019-20. 

Amanda Walden was the only Ram to compete individual as the sophomore raced the 200. Her time of 26.88 was good for 17th. 

The rest of the Rams were a part of a relay team.  

In the 4x200, Lauren WoodShannon MacArthurAlyssa Rodriguez and Klaudia Rushi combined for a 1:56.55. 

Alicia BibiSkyler SpanbauerEmily Concepcion and Jocelyn Triscik teamed up in the 4x400. All, but Bibi were on the Distance Medley Relay team that featured Therese McKeagney lead off. 

Suffolk's indoor schedule has one event remaining on the schedule before nationals, Tufts Last Chance Qualifier Saturday, March 5.
