New England Regionals Up Next for Indoor Track & Field 

BOSTON – For the first time since 2020, Suffolk men's and women's indoor track & field will compete at NCAA Division III New Englands this weekend. The men's meet will take place at Middlebury in Middlebury, Vermont, while the women head to Colby's Indoor Competition Center in Waterville, Maine.

Suffolk women's indoor track & field had a small contingent of Rams head to the Beard Fieldhouse Saturday for the Wheaton Pre-Postseason Invite.

RAMS AT REGIONALS

  • Suffolk sends the most student-athletes to the regional stage in program history seven student-athletes, six men, one woman. 
  • In additional to the individuals, both the men and women have two relay teams running.  
  • Matyas Csiki-Fejer heads to regionals for the third time in his career
  • Michael Balestra, who was the first Ram to compete at New Englands in program history in 2020, along with Cole Bolduc and Robert Solari, members of the 4x400 relay team, are back at regionals for the second time in their collegiate careers.

RAMS RECOGNITION [ MEN ] 
Tim Barry and Michael Balestra of the Suffolk men's indoor track & field combined for the three Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly awards. Barry grabbed both track athlete and rookie of the week, while Balestra took home field athlete of the week. The awards come on the heels of performances at the Wheaton Pre-Post Season Invitational.

RAMS RECOGNITION [ WOMEN ]
For the second time this season, Caitlyn Filloramo of the Suffolk women's indoor track & field team garnered Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Field Athlete and Rookie of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

Suffolk will have one final chance to earn its spot at nationals next weekend when the Rams head to the Tufts Final Qualifier Saturday, March 5.
