Indoor Track & Field Adds John Thomas Terrier Classic to Schedule

BOSTON – Suffolk men's and women's indoor track & field will compete at multiple events over the weekend after head coach Will Feldman added that the Rams will not compete at the John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University in addition to the previously scheduled Branwen Smith-King Invitational at Tufts.

The addition comes after Tufts narrowed the field size allowed at the Branwen Smith-King Invitational earlier this week. The restriction of the smaller group of athletes allowed to compete also included the announcement that no spectators or noncompeting athletes to attend the meet.

In order to have all Rams be able to compete this weekend, Suffolk will split up its team. Throwers and jumpers, both men and women, will be at Tufts on Saturday, Jan. 29, while the blue-and-gold's sprinters and distance runners will compete at BU. The women's squad will compete on Friday, Jan. 28 with the men heading across town Saturday, Jan. 29.
